Huskies Fall for Second Straight Time in OT

SEATTLE, Wash - The Washington Huskies' 26 to 23 overtime loss to Arizona State at Husky Stadium today might have cost them a trip to a bowl game. Washington's fourth consecutive defeat left the Huskies with a 4 and 5 record overall and, 2 and 4 in the Pac-10. The Huskies need six wins to become bowl eligible and they're likely to be big underdogs in two of their final three regular-season games; at Oregon next Saturday at 12:30 p.m. and in the Apple Cup at Washington State November 18th. In the first overtime game in Husky Stadium history today, the Sun Devils scored on a 25-yard touchdown pass on their second play of overtime for the triumph. That came after Michael Braunstein kicked a career-long 47-yard field goal to put Washington ahead 23 to 20 in overtime. It was Washington's second straight loss in overtime.
