SELAH, Wash. - A semi truck rolled over and has closed down the right lane of eastbound I-82 near milepost 30.
Washington State Patrol says the driver of the truck is 43-year-old Dana Roberts of Ohio.
Roberts says he heard a loud bang from the back of his truck, and then he couldn't keep his semi on the road. He drifted to the right side of the highway, hit the guardrail, and rolled down the ditch.
Police say he was able to walk away from that crash.
Right now the department of ecology has been called and about 100 gallons of diesel have leaked from the truck. State Patrol officers do not think this will cause any threat to nearby streams. The spill will be cleaned up later this morning after the semi is removed.
