Hermiston Police and two former meth users held a meeting to teach others about the dangers of meth use on Wednesday night. Police have called Umatilla County a high intensity drug trafficking area and know that meth is made and used in the area.
The meeting tonight tried to show what meth use can do through the eyes of two young women. The girl's experience with meth was shown in a film. It highlighted their steady decline into meth addiction and the change in their relationships with family and friends.
The two women answered questions after the film. They will be making similar visits to schools in the area in the next couple of days.
