Kennewick Police Looking For Lewd Suspect
KENNEWICK, Wash. - Kennewick police are looking for a man exposing himself to women throughout the city. So far only two women have reported the man, but there may be more victims.
Officers need additional witnesses to find the suspect. There's a chance more than one guy is out there doing this, but both times the description, vehicle and the way it was done are exactly the same.
On October 19th, he exposed himself to a woman around the lunch hour near the intersection of Canal Drive and Ione Street. He pulled up in his car to ask for directions to Walmart, and the woman noticed his pants were open.
And on Wednesday, a man with the same description exposed himself to another woman around the lunch hour in the Benton Franklin Fairgrounds parking lot. He pulled up, asked directions to Walmart and had his pants open.
Police believe these aren't the only incidents and officers want other victims to come forward.
"This is an embarrassing situation, where somebody exposed themselves to you, but we need to know because you might have that one piece of information, something that you remember that might really help us crack this case and put this guy in jail where he belongs," said Sgt. Ken Lattin, Kennewick Police Department.
Here's the man's description, he's a Hispanic male in his early 20's, six feet tall, with a slender build, short curly black hair, thin mustache and a light complexion.
He's driving a late 70's model, four door Oldsmobile or LTD, with light tan faded paint, light colored cloth interior and loud exhaust.
If you recognize this man or his car, call Crime Stoppers at 586-TIPS or 1-800-222-TIPS.
