Tri-Cities Flu Shot Update

PASCO, Wash. - The Benton Franklin County Health Department continued to give out flu shots to people in the Tri-Cities, but the distribution delays continue.

The Benton Franklin County Health Department officials said there has been a steady flow of people coming in for their shots.

The Benton Franklin County Health Department and other private doctors have not received the amounts that they originally ordered but report more of the vaccine should be on the way.

The Benton Franklin County Health Department received about 4,500 shots earlier this week that they are currently distributing.

Benton Franklin County Health Department official Heather Hill said, "We'll vaccinate until we run out of this shipment and hopefully another shipment will come in sometime next week or so."

The Benton Franklin County Health Department is providing shots for 25-dollars at all four of their locations.

The Benton Franklin County Health Department stressed that there is no shortage just delays.
