Speak Up If You've Been Affected By Recent Flooding
YAKIMA, Wash. - Both Yakima and Kittitas Counties have been added to the state's emergency list after the week's flooding.
That brings the total number of counties declared to 24.
As of Thursday afternoon, the Yakima County office said there have been no reports.
However, if you'd like to report flood damage, be sure to contact the office of emergency services.
They'll compile a report and send it to the state office, who will then issue a team to come out and do damage assessment.
"If they call we can determine if what they have is something that can be reimbursable or the damage assessment team can determine that this is going to be reimbursed, but there's no guarantee," Office of Emergency's Rachelle Miller said.
If you have flood damage, call the Yakima County Office of Emergency at 574-1900, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
