Metal Fragments Found in Kennewick Homeowner's Pills

The latest drug recall hits close to home. A Kennewick homeowner finds metal shavings in her pain medication. Delores Campos says she has been taking generic Tylenol for years.

She takes it every night before she goes to bed. But, when her son told her that similar bottles of acetaminophen had been recalled she went to work. She crushed up her pills with a hammer and then used a magnet to pull up any metal. She found tiny metal fragments in her own pills. She has found two pieces so far and plans to continue looking.

Campos said that she bought her pills from Wal-Mart and had done so for quite a while. Perrigo, the company that started the acetaminophen pill recall also made her pills. Campos says she is worried about her health and wants others to check their pills.

We have a link on our webiste, Kndu. Com, that lists the effected bottles.
