SELAH, Wash -- The Minutemen Civil Defense Corps held an organizational meeting at the Selah Civic Center on Sunday.
Pro-immigration demonstrators were on hand to protest the meeting. About 20 police officers were also there to ensure that the day did not turn violent.
Minutemen supporters said they have a constitutional right to meet, and to expected secure boarders. They also said they were not against immigrants, just illegal immigrants and wanted to keep terrorist out of the U.S.
