RICHLAND, Wash. - A section of State Route 240 will close for several hours Monday night. All lanes will be closed in both directions, but crews claim it shouldn't effect the majority of drivers.
There's still a lot of work ahead before crews finish construction on the 240. But workers said Monday night's project shouldn't be a big hassle.
Starting at 11 o'clock, the Washington State Department of Transportation will begin to close lanes in both directions, between Columbia Park Trail and George Washington Way.
By 12:00 a.m. construction workers will close all lanes bewteen G-Way and Columbia Park Trial until 2:00 a.m. Crews said they're just setting up a sign bridge. So Monday night's closure should be short.
