On Saturday afternoon, a semi truck rolled over two miles west of Vernita Bridge spilling a load of wood chips all over State Route 24.
State patrol say the driver went into a turn too fast and flipped the vehicle on its side. The truck is totalled but the man was not hurt.
Traffic was totally blocked eastbound and partially westbound. The DOT was using a flagger and pilot vehicle to let cars through the one available lane. There were long delays because tow trucks had trouble getting the vehicle upright again.
