SPOKANE, Wash - Highly touted transfer student Micah Downs of Gonzaga had a pin inserted in his injured foot and could miss the entire season. Downs transferred from Kansas last season and was not eligible to play until December. He injured his foot during preseason practice. The 6-foot-8 guard was a McDonald's All-American at Juanita High School in Seattle, where he scored 24.8 points per game as a senior. He played 13 games at Kansas last season, averaging 4.3 points per game. He transferred to Gonzaga at semester break and had been expected to provide some depth to the Bulldogs this season.
