KENNEWICK, Wash. - Kennewick Police said a 19-year-old driver rolled his 2003 Buick Sedan several times near Clodfelter Road in Kennewick.
Police believe alcohol was involved. The man totaled his vehicle.
Kennewick Police Officer Paul Reynolds said, "as a result of a violent collision he should have been injured or killed but he received only minor injuries and was treated and released."
Authorities said he was treated and released from Kennewick General Hospital and now must appear in court for suspected drunk driving.
Reynolds said, "Obviously the holidays are a time when we have a lot of issues with drunk driving. Don't make the assumption that the person coming at you is completely sober there's a good chance they are not."
Police said the roads at 10th and Clodfelter do not intersect at a 90 degree angle which makes it difficult for drivers. Police said there was a motorcycle at the same intersection a few months ago.
