RICHLAND, Wash.- Organizers kick off the second half of fundraising for the Hanford Reach Interpretive Center.
They have already raised more than $20 million dollars, and need another $20 million before they can build it.
Len Peters, head of Pacific Northwest National Lab, and Rufus Friday, publisher at the Tri-City Herald, will head up the fundraising.
The center will be built at a 50-acre site just south of Interstate-182 on Columbia Point.
It's set to open in Spring 2008.
