Americans Bear Cold to Support Community

PASCO, Wash - Despite below freezing temperatures, the Tri-City Americans hockey team still managed to get out and give back to the community. At several different Wal-Mart locations around the Tri-Cities today the Americans stood outside in the bitter cold to help raise money for the Salvation Army's annual Christmas kettle drive. Even Big, Bad Aaron Boogaard tossed on some layers of clothing to support the cause. Says teammate Erik Felde, "He's tough on the ice, but off the ice he's just a big teddy bear."
