Kennewick Man Assaulted

KENNEWICK, Wash. - Kennewick Police are looking into allegations that a Kennewick man was beat up and kidnapped by five men.

The victim was with the alleged suspects in another car when State Patrol Troopers pulled them over.

The four male suspects are in their twenties and a teenage boy has also been arrested.  All five were booked into jail on kidnapping charges.

Late Sunday evening police searched a Kennewick apartment on West Albany Court looking for evidence related to the crime.

Kennewick Sgt. Randy Higgins said "They will search the apartment for any traces evidence, blood evidence, hair and fibers.  Those types of things will be collected."

Police are not releasing a lot of information but they have interviewed a number of witnesses and people involved in the case.

Police think the man that was allegedly beat up might have stolen something from the suspects. The victim was taken to the hospital to be treated for his injuries, then was booked into jail on an unrelated warrant.
