Idaho State Interviews CWU's Zamberlin

POCATELLO, Idaho - Idaho State interviewed Central Washington head football coach John Zamberlin on Tuesday. Zamberlin spent the day on the Bengals campus. He's one of six candidates (as of Tuesday) for the job.

Idaho State had already interviewed Bowling Green's Mick McCall, Utah's Gary Anderson, Maine's Bobby Wilder, and Michigan's Mike Cox. On Wednesday, the school will interview former North Carolina offensive line coach Mark Weber.

Zamberlin has coached Central Washington since 1997. The Wildcats are 38-16 since 2001. In 2006, CWU finished 6-5 in its first season in the North Central Conference. In September, Central Washington topped D1-AA Eastern Washington, a member of the Big Sky conference with Idaho State.
