School District Will Soon Decide Where Outlook Students Will Go
OUTLOOK, Wash. - Fire investigators are still trying to figure out what sparked a fire at Outlook Elementary School, but right now, they say it doesn't look suspicious.
The fire destroyed the school's gym, cafeteria, and a multi-purpose area, while the rest of the school received some smoke or water damage.
The fire was reported about noon Sunday, firefighters were on scene until about midnight. The Yakima County Fire Marshal and ATF agents are investigating.
Parents can find out where their students will be attending school after winter break during a meeting at 6 pm, Dec. 19. The meeting will be held at the Office of Instruction and Support Services, 800 East Custer.
