Foster kids from across the Tri-Cities got to celebrate Christmas a little early tonight. Local churches and people from across the area donated truckloads of toys.
About 40 children came and recieved their presents. The Catholic Family and Child Service holds the event every year, calling it the Christmas Brigade. Miss Tri-Cities was happy to see the children having such a good time.
She said, "Just shows how the community comes together...Just seeing the joy on their faces and how excited they are to get them...It's amazing."
Organizers say they were amazed at how many toys were donated and were happy they could help out so many families.
