RICHLAND, Wash. - Authorities said a semi truck lost control while getting off a ramp and tipped over.
The driver suffered minor injuries to his arm and was taken to an area hospital. It happened at the I-182, 82 eastbound interchange at around 1 o'clock Saturday afternoon.
The Richland Fire Department said a number of trucks have flipped on the ramp in the past few years.
A witness was headed to Pasco with his wife and said people passing by got out of their cars to help and said a doctor treated the driver while waiting for help to arrive.
Witness Bob Miller said, "A lot of people stopped and lent a hand and it was really nice to see."
Richland Firefighters and Washington State Patrol responded to the accident.
