Coyote Ridge Inmates Raising Money for Coats for Kids

CONNELL, Wash.- Two inmates at Coyote Ridge Correctional Center have raised $566.82 for KNDU's Coats for Kids.

Michael Smith and Pete O'Brien got together in May to raise money for kids, they picked KNDU's Coats for Kids.

The two organized an Ice Cream Social for about 300 other inmates, charged $2.00 each, and gave the money to Coats for Kids.

They hope to continue fundraising like this in the future.
