YAKIMA, Wash. - Major traffic delays on Nob Hill Boulevard on Thursday night.
A tractor-trailer accident has forced the closure of the road between 1st Street and Fair Avenue.
It was expected to take crews until at least midnight on Thursday to get the situation completely repaired and cleaned up.
Power has already been restored to area homes and businesses from the downed power lines.
The truck driver, Roger Bower of Yakima was cited for driving with a suspended license.
Lieutenant Tom Schneider of the Yakima Fire Department says the trailer was moving out of a parking spot behind Valley Brew and got caught up in phone lines near the 800 block of East Nob Hill Boulevard.
The trailer did take down a couple of utility poles, but no one was hurt.
