YAKIMA, Wash. - Davis High School is planning to recognize students who successfully passed the WASL. A ceremony will be held Monday at 6:00 pm.
81 Davis students who took the WASL last year passed it. 51 of those students passed all four sections: reading, writing, math and science.
All students must now pass the WASL to graduate. Registration for the this year's test goes until January 19th.
Students who passed it the first time around say preparation in the classroom is the key. Davis is helping its students prepare by offering a couple of WASL camps in the next few months.
The first one is happening January 20th, it'll focus on the reading and writing portions of the test.
