ELLENSBURG, Wa - The Kittitas County Courthouse had to be evacuated this morning, after two bomb threats were called in.
The calls came in to Kittcom Dispatch and the Sheriff's Office at about a quarter to nine this morning.
Local law enforecment swept the building, then three bomb sniffing dogs were brought in.
Traffic was partially blocked on 6th avenue and Water street. People were allowed back in the building at around 2:30pm.
Kittitas County Commissioner Dave Bowen was in the building when the threats were called in.
"The evacuation went smoothly," He says.
Bowen says they don't have any suspects at the moment, but they're pretty sure that those who called in the threat wanted to disrupt the court proceedings that were scheduled for today.
