KENNEWICK, Wash. - A woman fled Benton County Deputies after she was stopped for speeding.
Deputies said they attempted to stop her at the intersection of 395 and Kennewick Avenue when she took off, traveling at a high speed down Kennewick Avenue. It happened at 10 o'clock Saturday morning.
During the chase she stopped at the corner of Jean street to let the passenger out of car. He was captured by Deputies, questioned and let go.
The woman got away in a silver four door car with Oregon license plates.
Deputies stopped chasing her because the high rate posed a danger to other drivers.
