YAKIMA, Wa - Kittitas County Commissioners say a bomb scare at the courthouse cost the county $30,000 in lost wages.
They also had to pay for three bomb sniffing dogs from king county to be brought in to sweep the building.
The courthouse was evacuated for five and a half hours on Friday after two separate bomb threats were called in that morning.
The Sheriff's Office says they are busy chasing down leads right now.
County Commissioner David Bowen says the people who called in the threats could face felony charges.
He suspects they were trying to disrupt court proceedings scheduled for that morning.
