UNION GAP, Wash. - The City of Union Gap wants traffic to move smoothly through the Valley Mall Boulevard interchange.
Mayor Aubrey Reeves and the council are getting ready to adopt a new plan to meet that goal.
Reeves says getting rid of the stop lights and creating roundabouts in both directions should take care of the problem. The roundabout plan also includes adding another lane. The cost of the project is between 15 and 18 million dollars. Construction is expected to begin in 2009.
