UNION GAP, Wash. - A man was killed on Interstate 82 near Union Gap, after he was ejected from his pick-up truck.
The Washington State Patrol says a car was traveling eastbound when it slid off the road, crossed the median and slammed into the truck. There were several people injured, but none of those injuries are life-threatening.
State Patrol Sgt. Dave Robinson blames speed and bad roads for the crash. He says, "With the snow and ice, it's very slippery out. People are just going way too fast. I don't know what the problem is. It's just ridiculous."
Troopers were called out to investigate. The man killed in that crash has been identified as 41 year-old John Kroll of Selah.
