KENNEWICK, Wash. - The slick and slippery roads have caused wrecks all over our area the last couple days. This has not only kept law enforcement busy, but tow truck companies as well.
Some tow companies in our area have reported two or three times their normal business the last couple days.
A & E Towing owner Marcos Escobar said that with the bad weather calls that would normally take 45 minutes are now taking an hour and a half. He also said the weather puts his staff and his trucks at risk.
Escobar says that in the last two days A & E towing has taken calls for 12 to 15 accidents, way more than average.
He says that with all the accidents his company has to prioritize which cars they go to first. Cars that are blocking roads and tows called in by law enforcement are on the top of the list.
