TRI-CITIES, Wash. - The sexually transmitted disease reports for Benton and Franklin Counties are in for 2006.
The overall number of reports has increased.
The health department said they inch up every year.
Gonorrhea is up 105 percent for Benton County with 21 cases in 2005 compared to 43 in 2006.
Chlamydia rates increased by 29 percent in Franklin County. The health department encouraged people to use condoms.
