Kennewick Business Burglaries

KENNEWICK, Wash. - Two businesses were broken into Saturday night on Grandridge Boulevard in Kennewick.

Kennewick Police are working on a number of leads.  Nothing But Noodles and Distinctive Properties were both burglarized.

Nothing But Noodles Owner Jim Hui said, "Everything was just thrown everywhere.  Computers ripped down.  There was a lot of damage."

Sunday afternoon they were forced to shut their doors as workers cleaned up the mess.  Police said the thieves got away with cash.

Distinctive Properties was also burglarized Saturday night.  Police said a laptop computer and printer were stolen and think the bandits forced their way in through a back door.

Kennewick Police Sergeant Scott Child said, "Since they happened relatively close to each other, relatively in the same time frame, relatively with the same entry on both buildings, we think they're probably related."

Owners are angry and police are looking for the suspects.

Hui said, "It's really sad.  We are a small operation and the margins are tight already.  This disrupts our whole day."

Child said, "It's brazen and unfortunately the people that commit these crimes aren't very smart and they get caught.  You can be certain officers will be doing extra patrols in the area."
