TRI-CITIES, Wash. - A new Hispanic community paper is now available in the Tri-Cities. Most of the stories are written in both Spanish and English.
It is called Tu Decides, which translates into You Decide. The paper is free and covers various issues that affect the Hispanic community.
Owners said investors from around the state have expressed interest in the paper. This paper targets those that speak English, Spanish or both.
Director of Marketing Blanca Torres said her mom only speaks Spanish but her kids only speak English and this paper gives them a way to communicate.
Torres said, "To see my parents and my children reading the newspaper together was a dream come true. We've never had anything like that we've never had a resource that could provide information from the community to all three generations."
