One Man is Sent to the Hospital after Rolling his Truck on I-182 in Pasco.
PASCO, WASH. - One man is sent to the hospital after being ejected from his truck and landing on his head as his car rolls on interstate one-eighty-two.
Crews worked quickly to save the life of thirty-year-old, Jason Mann of Pasco.
He was headed East bound when he lost control near the bridge between Pasco and Richland.
He swerved into the median, causing his truck to flip several times before he was thrown out.
Mann landed forty feet away from his vehicle.
A witness saw what happened.
"He must have hit ice or something, and his truck went sideways and it rolled and rolled, just kept rolling and rolled right into the next lane. And he flew out, hit the road a couple times. It was..it was bad," said Colleen Kimsey.
Police say Mann was not wearing a seatbelt and speed was a definite factor in the crash.
Two other accidents happened this morning on the same icy stretch of freeway within a mile of one another, and all in the same half hour.
Police say those involved in the other accidents walked away without injury, all due to wearing their seatbelts.
