Stabbing Suspect to be Extradited

Posted: Updated:

The Kittitas County Prosecutor's office wants to extradite an Ellensburg stabbing suspect recently caught in Tennessee...

The 19 year-old was arrested Sunday in Nashville for three counts of aggravated robbery.

His name is Jose Antonio Moravillanueva -- he goes by the name "Antonio Mora".

The Prosecutor's Office says Mora was the main suspect in the September 16th stabbing of a Central Washington University football player -- Steve Sakalia.

The Prosecutor's Office plans to extradite Mora for that stabbing, but he is being held in Tennessee for his crimes of aggravated robbery.

Once he is back in Ellensburg, Mora will be charged with first degree assault with a deadly weapon.
