HERMISTON, Oregon - 20,000 dollars worth of marijuana is off the street after sheriff's deputies raided a home and found the drugs. Umatilla County Sheriffs said they also found dozens of stolen goods during the raid.
A tip came into the sheriff's office linking a Hermiston man to stolen goods. But when police showed up with a search warrant, they found nine pounds of packaged marijuana. The drugs were prepackaged in zip lock bags along with a three pound brick of marijuana. The drugs are worth anywhere between $15,000 and $20,000 on the street.
Sheriff's said they had a warrant to search a home sitting on 40 acres at 79554 Agnew Road in Hermiston. Along with drugs, they found items taken from homes and businesses including a compressor from the Tri-Cites.
46-year-old Jonathan Reuter is in jail on theft and drug charges. He was arrested at the Hermiston home without incident on January 26, 2007.
