Police Look for Man in Possible Domestic Assault Case

Posted: Updated:

RICHLAND, Wash. - A woman claimed her husband assaulted both her and her daughter, then took off with their young son Monday night.  Soon after the alleged attack, police said the woman and her daughter were in a safe place where they could not be contacted.

It all started around 4 o'clock Monday afternoon in the 500 block of Delafield Avenue in Richland. A man reportedly hit his wife and daughter then took off with his 8-year-old son in his gold Nissan Maxima.  The 38-year-old may have made some suicidal threats, but police said there's no evidence he has a weapon with him.

Officers said  they just want to find the man and figure out exactly what happened inside his home and want to hear his side of the story.

The man police are looking for is described as white, 5' 8" tall, 170 pounds, with brown hair and eyes.  If you have any information on where this man is, you're asked to call police.
