PASCO, Wash. - A new movie theater is coming to the Tri-Cites. Construction is going up off Road 68 in Pasco.
If you've been around Road 68 lately you've probably noticed the massive building going up behind Yoke's Fresh Market. We saw it too and wondered going on over there?
Jeff Fairchild is building a brand new 12 screen movie theater complete with stadium seating and a self serve snack bar.
Fairchild said this is the second theater he's built from scratch. And adds he just enjoys bringing movies to the masses.
"It's fun. It's people oriented. It's new crowds everyday. It's new movies coming out every week. The industry, the product is always changing. It just doesn't get boring," said Jeff Fairchild, Fairchild Cinemas.
Construction crews still have a lot of work to do, but if every thing goes according to plan the theater will open this March.
