Walla Walla Deputy Remains in Critical Condition

BURBANK, Wash. - A Walla Walla Sheriff's Deputy remains hospitalized after a car accident. Doctors at Kadlec Medical Center are continuing to monitor Deputy Michael Estes.

A delivery truck collided with Estes' patrol car Tuesday afternoon near Burbank. A nursing supervisor at Kadlec Medical Center told KNDU Estes is still in critical condition.

And a trooper at the Washington State Patrol said he's in a coma. A delivery truck collided with his car at the intersection of State Route 12 and 124. The Washington State Patrol Major Accident Investigation Team is looking into the crash.

If you've witnessed the crash or were around at the time of the collision, troopers want you to call and tell them what you know.

"We're assuming that there are some people who saw it that we haven't heard from yet. We're trying to encourage anyone who has information about the collision to give us a call," said Lt. Jay Cabezuela, Washington State Patrol.    

The crash occurred Tuesday afternoon at 2:55 in Burbank at the intersection of SR 12 and 124.
