Former model Anna Nicole Smith died Thursday after reportedly collapsing at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and casino in Hollywood, Florida.

Smith's attorney confirmed she was pronounced dead after being rushed to the hospital.

The 39-year old former playboy playmate also gained fame following a legal battle over her late husband's estate.

At issue was the will of Houston oil tycoon J. Howard Marshall the second, who died in 1995 at age 90, one year after the couple married.

Last year, Smith won a U.S. Supreme court decision in the suit giving her another chance to collect millions of dollars.

Just recently, Smith had been ordered to have her five-month-old daughter undergo a paternity test as part of a lawsuit by a former boyfriend.

And her 20-year old son died in the bahamas three days after the birth of her daughter.

She starred in a cable t-v reality series "The Anna Nicole Show" aired from 2002 to 2004.
