RICHLAND, Wash. - Richland Police have added extra enforcement to the area near Club Paradise on the weekends.
Police said there are too many reports of drugs, guns and violence.
The owners of Club Paradise have complained to police and said their customers are being harassed.
The high police presence is affecting some other area businesses.
The general manager of Kimo's located right near the night club said it is not appealing to have flashing police lights near your business but said safety comes first and appreciated the added protection.
Many other business owners near the club said they are closed in the early hours of the morning, which is when police have an increase of problems.
Many other business owners said they do not experience any problems with the people coming out of the nightclub.
