Republicans Face Tough Road in State Senate

KENNEWICK, Wash.- Local Republican leaders say the Democratic majority is making things tough in the Washington State Senate.

More than a third of the way through the session, Democrats hold a 32-17 majority this year, and Minority Leader Mike Hewitt ((R) 16th District) says they're trying to stop most of the Republicans' agenda.

Senator Jerome Delvin ((R) 8th District) says they'll work across the aisle to get as much as possible done before they close up shop.
