KENNEWICK, Wash. - A burglar smashes glass and steals cash from the Parkade Bar and Grill in Kennewick. Now police officers want your help to find the thief.
Police said whoever broke into the Parkade knew exactly what they were doing.
Sometime after the bar closed Wednesday night. Burglars smashed in the glass at the front door, and took cash from the safe. The thief also grabbed a plasma TV, but dropped it, broke it and left it behind.
Officers said the Parkade has surveillance cameras. But the thief knew enough to go upstairs and take the tape. Right now they think it's probably someone who used to work there.
"Obviously it's someone who understands at least their security system. It wouldn't be something everybody would be aware of," said Sgt. Ken Lattin, Kennewick Police Department.
Lattin anticipates someone knows who did it. And officers are hoping people in-the-know talk to police.
If you have any information officers want you to call Crimestoppers at 586-TIPS or 1-800-222-TIPS.
