Columbia Basin Dive Rescue Gets Money

TRI-CITIES, Wash. - Wal-Mart donated 2,500 dollars to Columbia Basin Dive Rescue.

The company donated money to a number of local groups that have a profound impact on the community.

Columbia Basin Dive Rescue works with Tri-Cities law enforcement and area fire departments when there are water rescues. 

Dive rescue said they rely on donations and said there were very excited about the generous donation.

Columbia Basin Dive Rescue Member Scott Pattison said the money would go towards improving their service.

Pattison said, "2,500 dollars is a lot of money for us and it will go along way and we will be able to buy equipment for the team."

Columbia Basin Dive Rescue is made up entirely of volunteers.
