The man accused of stabbing five men outside a nightclub in downtown Yakima could face a mandatory life in sentence.
Isrrael Santillan Saliz made a preliminary court appearance this morning, and he faces five counts of first degree assault.
The judge says each count is a Class-A felony, and each count could count as a strike against Santillan Saliz.
So, if he is convicted on three or more felonies, that would be three strikes and he would go to prison for life.
Police say Santillan Saliz stabbed five men outside Pete's on Sunday night after a dispute following an amateur rapping contest.
His bail is set at $300,000 dollars, and his arraignment is Thursday afternoon.
