Motorcycle Riders Will Ride in Procession to Sgt. Pfister's Memorial Service

PASCO, Wash.- Hundreds of motorcyclists are expected to band together Sunday in an attempt to drown out protests by the Westboro Baptist Church.

The Church travels the country protesting military funerals, saying American troop deaths are God's punishment for the country's tolerance of homosexuality.

At least 150 to 200 riders will gather at King City around 9:30 Sunday morning, then ride to the service to drown out the protestors with their mufflers and block the protestors.

They also say a group of semi-trucks may show up and park between the protestors and the service.

All protestors must stay at least 500 feet from the service and accompanying procession.
