KENNEWICK, Wash - A common complaint when it comes to illegal immigration is that people should just become legal citizens. But, many don't know what a process that actually is.
First, several forms must be filled out through U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.
Then, someone must apply for a Green Card and get fingerprinted, which costs almost four hundred dollars per person.
After five years, they can apply for citizenship. They must pass a test in English and again pay a fee. That costs another four hundred dollars.
