PASCO, Wash. - Police said a man allegedly tried to use his brother's identification to get on a plane but it did not work.
The suspect allegedly told police he was getting on a plane to go to Mexico for a family funeral.
Police said early Wednesday evening the suspect went to the airport and tried to use a license that had his brother's identification on it.
The airport clerk told police she noticed that he was fumbling with two different licenses that had the same picture but different names on each one.
Pasco Officer Joe Nunez praised the clerk for noticing the different names. He said, "She became suspicious of him and notified airport security who notified us and we began our investigation."
Police said the suspect will be charged with filing a false application with the Department of Licensing.
Police said he was not permitted on the flight and said he will not get a refund for the ticket.
