KENNEWICK, Wash. -- Friday night, eight weeks of healthy eating and exercise paid off big time for some contestants in the "Biggest Winner" contest.

Kathy Rockefeller and Dennis Rose were crowned "Biggest Winners" at the Tri-City Court Club.  Rockefeller lost 21 pounds and Rose 35.

Both said it took a lot of dedication, making sure they excercised and ate a lot of small, healthy meals. They each talked about how winning took a lot of hard work.

Kathy Rockefeller said,  "The exercise took more commitment, because there were times I was tired and didn't feel like it."

Dennis Rose said, "It was a hard eight weeks that I went through and I'm excited to have accomplished that."

A team prize was also awarded Friday night and the Purple Team took it. They will be rewarded with a $500 party. In all, Court Club leaders say about 40 people finished the contest.
