YAKIMA, Wash.- National Weather Service forecasters say the Yakima and Naches Rivers have peaked and they're headed down Tuesday night. The high water levels are pulling sediment and debris into the river making it a murky- brown color. At last report, the river measured ten-point-seven-six feet Tuesday. Ten feet is considered flood stage.
River supervisors say the high waters are headed towards Tri-Cities. They should hit Prosser about midnight Tuesday night.
