Toppenish, WA - Toppenish Police arrest the suspect they say is responsible for the murder at the General Store early Saturday morning.
Police say the suspect is a 22-year-old hispanic man, but they won't release his name until he makes a court appearance tomorrow.
They arrested him late last night, just a few blocks from where the murder happened in Toppenish.
The murder victim was 25-year-old Ezequiel Reyes.
He was gunned down after he finished work at the 'General Store.'
Reyes' family says he leaves behind five year old son.
The crime doesn't make sense to them because they say he had no enemies.
"Ezequiel didn't cause no problems for nobody," says his cousin Adrian Reyes, "All he wanted to do was just work and maintain for his wife and son... Make an honest living and that's the type of person he was. He was an honest, friendly guy."
Police are still unclear on a motive, but they say some people they spoke suggested the murder suspect shot Reyes over an alleged affair with the suspect's girlfriend.
The suspect will be arraigned in superior court tomorrow.
