RICHLAND, Wash - The Tri-Cities Fever continue to practice out at Richland High School this week in preparation for their season opener against Mahoning Valley this Saturday. The team has already been bitten by the injury bug, with wide receiver George Carter on the I.R. for four weeks with a high ankle sprain. A couple linemen are also ailing from injuries. Coach Tony Wells says the injuries highly affect the cuts he has to make. Wells says he will have to release a couple of guys tomorrow (Thrusday's are the deadline for rosters during a game week) and they will most likely be linemen. Saturday's game starts at 5 p.m.
